With a background in accounting and finance, I have helped clients through one of the most significant financial transactions of their lives while protecting and preserving their assets for the future. My logical and compassionate approach help guide my clients through the emotional turmoil of custody cases and give them the peace of mind to confidently make decisions that are in their children’s best interests.
I have successfully litigated complex cases involving property division, business valuations, reimbursement claims, multijurisdictional issues, separate property trusts, high conflict custody disputes, and enforcements.
I am collaboratively trained and am a member of Collaborative Law Dallas, where I currently serving as the president. With skills in both litigation and collaborative law, I provide the knowledge and experience to determine which cases should be tried and which cases can be effectively settled.
Like all partners at Verner Brumley McCurley, I am Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to being active in the family law community, I am on the Board of Directors of the Collin County Young Lawyers Association. I am also a member of the Young Community Partners of Dallas, an organization dedicated to the protection of abused and neglected children in the Dallas area, where I also serve on the Board of Directors.
